5 Day Weekend

So, I came home on Tuesday and passed out for an hour- woke up with a fever of 101.3 and felt like I was dying. Dennis finally came home from work but had to call his customers so luckily my mother in law came over and picked up my prescription and got some popsicles and sierra mist for me. Upon crying, I finally threw up and started to feel better and then passed out for the night. The doctor ordered me to stay home for 1-2 days so since there is no school on Friday, I took today and tomorrow off to give my self some time to recoop.
I spent all day on my couch watching the Food Network and various other shows on our DVR that have been waiting to be watched. Overall, I feel a lot better tonight and am so thankful for such a wonderful husband. Dennis has done a really great job taking care of me and cleaning up after me. He is so wonderful.

SNOW DAY!!!

It's a snow day today. Hallelujah! I really needed the break from work. So far we have gotten about 5' of snow and it's still coming down HARD. I am looking out the window and the back of Dennis' Pointe truck is almost full of snow. I can't wait until we are in bright and sunny Arizona next month! It will be so nice. I am really looking forward to my vacation. Anywho.... back to my day off at home doing....NOTHING!!

Oh the Places I've been.....

So, its been a while since I have posted a blog. Where to begin..... oh yes I got a job as a Teacher's Assistant with a child who should not be in the public school system. He is seriously B.D (behavior disorder). He has kicked several staff members including myelf, called the principal a freak and pissed off just about everyone at the school. I definetly don't get paid enough to deal with this but it's only until June, then I can have my own classroom!! Today, his mom had to pick him up because he got mad when I asked him to do his work- he threw stuff at me, kicked a chair and then yelled "NO" at the top of his lungs. He was physically removed. I have been told I have awesome patience but today I almost lost it and was tempted to sit on the kid and tell him to shut up! Oh geez.... Tune in next week for some more Aaron drama!!

One perk to my week.... Dennis and I are finally taking our honeymoon to Arizona in March. It is a MUCH MUCH needed vacation.

All because 2 people fell in love

Dennis & I have known each other for almost 10 years- which seems like forever! Yes we are highschool sweethearts and we finally decided to take the plunge and get married in the Chicago Temple on September 17, 2005. We have managed to survive the first year of married life and things are great!

Christmas Vacation

Three days after Christmas, we had the opportunity to go to Nauvoo for Dennis' brothers wedding. It was a great experience. It was my first time being in the Nauvoo temple since I went in 2002 for the open house. We got to stay in this HUGE house right off of the Mississippi River. We ate breakfast at a very nice Bed & Breakfast across the street and saw some really beautiful houses.
